Sail and Surf offers a fantastic week of Sailing and Windsurfing on Lake Windermere.

Our accommodation, located on the edge of the stunning Lake Windermere, is a superb, catered activity centre with great water sports facilities on site. The week offers the chance to be introduced to sailing and windsurfing for the first time, or to develop skills you already have. During the day, experienced instructors run RYA courses for all levels of ability so that you’re working towards an achievable goal over the week. Each course is designed to maximise levels of fun as well as to teach new skills using a wide range of the very latest equipment. RYA qualified Safety Boat drivers operate a fleet of power boats to ensure a safe environment for everyone.

Other water based excitements over the week include such things as our own race courses and an intrepid excursion, however, there is a great range of other adventurous activities available if weather conditions are not right for water sports. Evenings involve further fun and laughter with a (usually dryer) onshore activity and meeting together for a time of worship and to explore the Christian faith.

Sail and Surf is a week on which many Christian teenagers have brought friends from different backgrounds and beliefs for a fantastic holiday, knowing that their friend’s views will be respected. The camp includes a clear presentation of the Christian message as well as opportunities for everyone to discuss their beliefs or learn about Christianity for the first time in a relaxed and friendly environment.
